Lunar Houses – Myth or Fact?
The subject is more prosaic than it might seem. Although the title ‘lunar houses’ for most people is associated with some abstraction, a space station built on another planet in the form of capsules, it is, however, a term describing ‘lunar wood’ – an ordinary tree – used to build houses, which is specifically processed and is used in the form of a solid wood.
I used the word ‘ordinary’ although the results of scientific research confirmed that this kind of material is absolutely exceptional. It is of great importance to know in what period the tree should be harvested depending on the seasons and the phases of the moon. Wood harvested that way have exceptional durability, resistance, and texture.
As we know, the technology of building homes, as well as used materials, has changed significantly in the post-war years. Steel and concrete resulted in architectural unification creating blocks of flats without expression and soul. Houses built in the described technology are durable, safe and in every respect are better for a man.
We can say that they have a soul.
